Chris Heuer: President, Co-Founder
Chris is a Co-Founder of Social Media Club, a “not for loss” organization that brings together people with an interest in creating and consuming all forms of media in the “Web 2.0″ world. Chris also serves as the Executive Director of the not for profit BrainJams, Inc. An Internet pioneer with over 12 years of online communications and Web development experience, Chris consults both startups and large corporations on how to authentically engage with customers and potential customers through Social Media. His holistic vision encompasses strategic, creative and technological capabilities which allow him to identify key insights and emergent patterns before they are widely seen by others. Over the past year he has explored practical applications of social learning theory through what is popularly called “unconferences.” He uses his community organizing and group facilitation skills to help companies better understand the markets they serve.

Chris also serves on the advisory boards for BuzzLogic, a conversational intelligence company, and Social Roots, a social media marketplace.

Howard Greenstein: Executive Director, Co Founder
Howard sits in the middle of his social network as Co-Founder of Social Media Club, the world’s largest organization for educating and connecting professionals from Marketing, PR, Media, and Technology around the emerging field of Social Media. A natural net/worker, online since 1986, Howard gets his connector status from having started the first web user group in America, WWWAC.org, in 1994. He served on the board of NY New Media Association during the dot-boom, and is a current board member of the New York Software Industry Association (NYSIA.org). A former Microsoft technical evangelist and veteran of two early New York tech startups, he served as Director of Operations for the Twin Towers Fund after 9-11. Howard was formerly the Senior Director of Non-Degree Business Programs at NYU’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies. He has a Master of Professional Studies from the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at NYU, and a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University.
