If there is a mailing list the social media club maintains I'd like to be on it. Also, you mentioned that there would be a meeting at next week. At what time is the meeting and what will the topic be? I'm working with the PR firm CJC Strategists. The veteran who wondered "I'm working 24 hours now with all of this stuff - how do I get paid??" is the principal of the company, and my boss.
