My twitter usage has gone from:
1. Get every twitter for a few friends on my phone to...
2. Remove twitter from my phone because I got too many messages and watch twitter on "Twitterific" on my mac which shows twitters ever 30 min to....
3. Twitterific showing me updates hourly so I can get a sense of what's going on without having to be constantly interrupted.
It's the concept of "continuous partial attention" writ large.
