We are now doing our latest workshop as a series called "Starting the Conversation", helping executives and communications professionals launch succesfull Social Media initiatives that spark conversation, reach influentials through blogger relations, understand the value of a community with user generated content, real engagement and hosting conversations that matter. Shel Israel, consultant, author, nice-guy is the host, with myself, Howard Greenstein and other leading social media practitioners teaching and sharing throughout the day. This is going to be fun and quite a bit more valuable than many of the educational events that have been organized by traditional 'conference companies' elsewhere. As Brian Oberkirch pointed out to me, this workshop is designed by experts based on our unique insights into existing best practices, emerging opportunities and obstacles preventing widespread adoption across the enterprise. If you can join us in Palo Alto, Boston, New York City or Austin, you will be able to go back to work the next day and confidently deliver a presentation for on a new Social Media strategy for "Starting the Conversation".

PS - this is an overtly commercial plug for our workshop series, we won't do it on someone else's site, but since it is ours and we should have a banner on this page by the time you read this, we thought it would be ok :)
